CGPET 2019 Exam Dates, Application Form, Syllabus, Patter, Eligibility, Results, Counselling
Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test (CGPET 2019) is conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB). The board is also called as CG Vyapam. CGPET 2019 will be conducted on April 28, 2019 in online mode only. This exam grants admission to various government and private colleges of Chhattisgarh. CGPET Application Form will be available from March 15, 2019.
- There will be a total of 150 objective type questions in the exam.
- 50 questions each from section- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be asked. The exam will be of 150 marks.
- There are 3 courses available through this exam which are Engineering, Dairy Technology and Agricultural Engineering.
- A total of 41 colleges give admission to candidates through CGPET.

CGPET 2019 Eligibility
The common eligibility criteria for all courses are:
- Applicant must be a citizen of India
- The applicant should be a resident of Chhattisgarh and should have domicile of the state.
There are 3 courses that are offered. The eligibility criteria for different courses are given below:
For Engineering:
- Candidates must have cleared 12th grade from school affiliated to Chhattisgarh or equivalent board.
- The student must qualify in Physics, chemistry, mathematics and one of the technical vocational subjects in the qualifying exam.
- Minimum marks for the general category is 45% an40% for reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PH)
For Agricultural Engineering:
- Candidates must be above 16 years of age on 31st December of admission year.
- He/she must have cleared 12th grade from school affiliated to Chhattisgarh or equivalent board.
- Minimum marks for the general category is 50%(PCM+ English) an40% for reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PH)
- Candidates appearing for final exams are also eligible to apply for the exam.
For Dairy Technology:
- middot;Candidate must be above 17 years of age on 31st December 2019
- ·Applicant must have cleared 12th grade from school affiliated to Chhattisgarhi or equivalent board.
- Minimum marks for the general category is 50%(PCM+ English) an40% for reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PH)
- Candidates appearing for final exams are also eligible to apply for the exam.
CGPET 2019 Application Form
Applicants have to fill the application form online. Firstly, candidates have to visit the official website and search for “CGPET 2019 admission” link.
- Click and Download the CGPET 2019 Application Form.
- Fill in the required details.
- After successfully filling the application form, applicants can get their registration ID number for the exam.
- Applicants now have to upload their passport size photograph (4.5*3.5cm), thumb impression and signature in JPEG format. The size of the file should not exceed be 50kb and 40kb minimum
- To finish the registration process, the payment needs to be done. The application fee can be paid by credit card /debit card, net banking or Bank challan of SBI Bank.
- Candidates have to enter their valid Aadhar no. /PAN card no. /A/C no. /Driving License No. in application form.
- Once applicant has submitted the duly filled application form, no changes will be allowable in the application form. Therefore, fill in the form very carefully.
- Candidates can also track their application through login window by entering their login details.
- There is no need to send the application form to the exam conducting body.

Aspirants can deposit the fee through online mode (net banking, debit card, credit card). Or by downloaded bank Challan of any branch of SBI Bank.

CGPET 2019 Admit Card
CGPET 2019 Admit Card will be available online on the official website of CG Vyapam. It will be available from April 23, 2019 for download. Admit card will not be delivered to candidate via courier or post services. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without admit card.
Steps to Download Admit Card
- Firstly, visit the official website
- Use the application number and password to log in.
- Locate the “Admit card” tab.
- Click on the tab
- The admit card will get opened in a separate screen and can be downloaded from here.
Candidates will have to bring one photo ID proof (driving license/ voter ID /PAN card/Aadhar card or any other govt. ID) in which the photo of the applicant is attached and clearly visible, along with the admit card.
Exam Centers
A total 27 exam centers have been finalized for the entrance test. The exam will be held in the 2nd week of May 2019 in several districts of the state of Chhattisgarh. The test centers are allocated on first cum first serve basis. It is a very rare condition when candidate is allocated a test center other than his preferred test center. The university however takes no request for change of exam centers.
CGPET 2019 Exam Pattern
The entrance exam will be a 3 hour online based exam.
- It will contain 150 questions from 3 topics namely Physics, chemistry and Mathematics.
- One mark is awarded for every correct answer and there is no negative marking.
- The syllabus will be similar to the syllabus of the higher secondary examination.
- Attempting all the 150 questions is compulsory.
- The questions will be however MCQ type or objective. You have to choose one option from a given choice of 4 options.

The syllabus of CGPET 2019 exam will cover various subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabus will be similar to higher secondary examination (12th class).

CGPET 2019 Result
CGPET 2019 Result will be announced in the 2nd week of May 2019. The results will be uploaded on their official website and can be checked from there. The results declared will be on the basis of the cut-off list.
If a student does not meet the cutoff list declaration, the student will not be qualified for counseling. Separate merit list will be prepared by the exam conducting committee and posted on the official website. There is no provision for re-evaluation of answer sheets.

Answer key
Applicants can download the answer key after a few days of the examination. The answer key will be published around 2nd week of May 2019.The answer key will be uploaded on the website by the exam conducting body. Candidate can claim the answer in case any answer in the answer key is incorrect.
CGPET 2019 Cut of
Cutoff list will be provided by the conducting body. It will determine the minimum marks required to appear in the merit list.

CGPET 2019 Counselling
CGPET 2019 counseling procedure will commence from the 1st week of June 2019. No call letter will be sent to the applicant individually. The counseling will be held online. Candidates need to register online for CGPET counseling procedure. After registering, they need to fill the options of colleges according to their choice and rank. The seat will be allotted on the basis of options filled by candidates and availability of seat.
Documents Required for Counseling
(a) All mark sheets/grade reports and certificates, Original of Class X and XII, Transfer Certificate, Leaving Certificate and Character Certificate from School.
(b) In case a candidate belongs to SC, ST or non-creamy layer of OBC categories, Original caste Certificate as per Central Govt. is required.
(c) Medical Certificate should be presented if candidate is Physically Challenged (PC). It should be issued by Medical Officer of any Government Hospital with description of the kind and the degree of disability.
(d) In case the Date of Birth is not mentioned in Class X Certificate, Date of Birth (DOB) Certificate is required for the same.
(e) Original e- Admit Card, counseling letter from ICAR should also be present with candidate.
(f) Three recent and clear passport size colored photographs need to be submitted. They should have candidates name and date mentioned at the back.
(g) Domicile certificate.
(h) Authority letter/undertaking in the prescribed format (Annexure-III of IB), if the applicant is incapable of attending the counseling personally.
