CENTAC 2019 Exam Dates, Application Form, Syllabus, Pattern, Eligibility, Results, Counselling
CENTAC 2019 or Central Admission Committee, Puducherry conducts admission process for admission to various undergraduate courses in the field of engineering, pharmacy, etc. offered in various government institutions in Puducherry. Committee does not conduct any test and the admission is based purely on the merit of aspirants at the 10+2 level.
- Seats are allotted on the basis of cut-off declared by CENTAC for various institutions and the respective courses they offer.
- After filling the form online, candidates are required to submit the form at address mentioned in guidelines.
- For admission to law courses, candidates will have to submit a different form.
- The application window will open in the third week of May and candidates will be able to fill the form till the last week of May 2019
- Candidates can apply for more than one course in a single application form, except for Law courses
- CENTAC will prepare for separate merit lists for various courses based on candidates’ marks in 10+2.
- Document verification and seat allocation will be done through centralized counselling process.

CENTAC 2019 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria is specified by various institutions offering admission to different courses through CENTAC 2019. Eligibility criteria comprises minimum qualification that candidates should possess in order to be able to apply, age limit, domicile criteria, etc.
Aspirants can check below the CENTAC 2019 Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to register for CENTAC 2019.
Age Criteria: The lower age limit for BAMS is 17 Years (as on 1st October 2019).
The upper age limit for B.Tech is 21 years (as on 1st July 2019). There is three years relaxation for SC Candidates.
Qualification Criteria:
1. For B.Tech Course:
- Qualifying Exam: Pass 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Subjects: Qualify the 10+2 examination with Physics & Mathematics along with one of the given subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science.
- Minimum Marks: Secure minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of reserved category).
- Attempts: For SC, three attempts application & for other, only two attempts.
2. For B.Pharm Course:
- Qualifying Exam: Qualify the 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Subjects: Pass the above examination with Physics & Chemistry along with one of the given subjects: Mathematics /Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science.
- Minimum Marks: Score at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of reserved category).
- Attempts: There are no attempt limits for B.Pharma.
3. For BAMS(Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery) Course:
- Qualifying Exam: Pass the 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
- Subjects: Qualify the above exam with Physics, Biology, Chemistry & English subjects individually.
- Minimum Marks: Obtain at least 50% marks (For GEN), 40% marks (For SC/ST/OPH) & 45% marks (For OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/OPH (GEN & OBC).
- Attempts: Only one attempt limit.
4. For BDS and MBBS
- Qualifying Exam: Qualify the 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Subjects: Pass the above examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Bio-Technology, Zoology, Botany and English individually.
- Minimum Marks: Score at least 50% marks (40% marks in case of reserved category).\
- Entrance Exam: Based on the rank secured in NEET 2019
- Attempts: There are no attempt limits for BDS and MBBS
5. For B.Sc. (MLT)
- Qualifying Exam: Qualify the 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Subjects: Pass the above examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
- Minimum Marks: Score at least 50% marks (40% marks in case of reserved category).
- Attempts: There are no attempt limits for this course.
6. For B.Sc. (Nursing)
- Qualifying Exam: Qualify the 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Subjects: Pass the above examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- Minimum Marks: Score at least 50 %marks (40% marks in case of reserved category).
- Attempts: There are no attempt limits for B.Sc.(Nursing)

CENTAC 2019 Application Process
The application form of CENTAC 2019 will be available from May third week, 2019. The last date of submitting the filled-in CENTAC 2019 Application Form is last week of May, 2019. Form can be submitted in online mode only.

Step 1:Obtaining the Application Form
The application form can be obtained online. Candidates seeking the form online should visit the CENTAC website https://www.centaconline.in/
Candidates will have to enter name, date of birth and mobile number/email id in order to get the user id and password required to login for the application form.
The next step is logging-in using the user id and password to fill the application form
Step 2: Filling-in
Candidates are required to provide personal and educational details. They have to upload photograph in the required format which will be used for both application form and admit card. The details to be filled in the application form are

Documents Required with CENTAC 2019 Application Form
Candidates need to submit several requisite documents along with print-out of duly filled CENTAC 2019 Application Form. The following documents are required for the CENTAC 2019 Application Process:

CENTAC 2019 Merit List
CENTAC will prepare separate merit lists for admission to various courses. The merit lists for selected candidates will be published through the website of the three universities. The result will be available by first week of June.
Steps to download the merit list:
- Candidates can check their merit status online on the official site for CENTAC 2019
- Open the website and click on the link that reads CENTAC 2019 Results
- Enter registered enrollment number in the window that appears
- Press submit, the result will be displayed
- Result window will show the cut off marks and call letter.
CENTAC 2019 Cut off
CENTAC 2019 cutoff is the minimum score a candidate needs to obtain in order to be eligible for admission to various undergraduate programs.
- CENTAC 2019 cutoff will vary from institute to institute.
- The cut-off will also depend on the course and the category of the students who have been shortlisted on the basis CENTAC ranks.
- The cutoff of CENTAC 2019 isn’t fixed and may vary from previous years. It depends on the several factors:
- Seats available in the course for which admission is sought
- The cutoff trends of previous years
- Perform in the 10+2 exam (if more number of candidates do well in the exam, it will push the cutoff rank higher and vice versa)
CENTAC Counselling 2019
Aspirants meeting the cutoff marks CENTAC 2019 will be placed in the Merit List prepared by the committee.
- The Merit List will be prepared based on the marks scored in accordance of their ranks.
- Candidates will be called for counselling in order of their ranks and seat allotment on the basis of CENTAC 2019 Merit List. Separate counselling letters will be issued.
- The counseling is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in the second week of June till week first of July 2019 up until second list.
- Candidates will have to check the website for counseling schedule.
- CENTAC 2019 Counselling will be conducted offline.
- The qualified candidates need to appear in person for counselling and will be required to produce the required documents for verification.

After the completion of the counseling process within one week, the conducting authority will release a seat allotment list. Candidates have to download their provisional allotment letter from the website and then report at the allotted center within a given time period with all the required documents. In case, candidates fail to report on a given time, their seat will be cancelled or given away.
