Founded in 2004 by highly qualified people, Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology emerged as a hub for engineering excellence. At VBIT, students will discover engineering in a different light. Students will experience an engineering education that is on par with the industry requirement.
The sprawling 10.2 acre campus has state-of-the-art teaching facilities to train students in emerging technologies. The college is located about 18 kms from Uppal on the Warangal Highway.

Admissions are made as per rules / guidelines prescribed by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) and JNTUH..
70 percent seats are filled by the EAMCET/ICET Convener as per TS Government rules.
30 percent of seats are filled by the management only on merit basis. Seats are open for all eligible candidates including candidates belonging to other states and Union Territories of India and NRIs, who are qualified in EAMCET and those who are not qualified in EAMCET but are having 50% in aggregate in 12th standard having the subjects of Maths, Physics, Chemistry are eligible for the Admission

The Training and Placement, Career Guidance & Entrepreneurship Cell of this college provides guidance and all the assistance for the students in order to achieve their career goals. The unit takes right steps in identifying the demands of the current industry and prepares students towards this need. Adequate emphasis is given for soft skill development complementing the regular academic programmed.
Aptitude tests and group discussions are conducted at regular intervals to enable the students to improve their performance in competitive exams. The Placement Officer who is assisted by faculty and student representatives from all the departments heads this unit. Job oriented courses and special training programmes are regularly conducted. VBIT also welcomes guest lectures, visiting faculty members for training students and faculty members too
