In ancient times, a king had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the big stone out of the way. Then a learned man came along carrying a load of vegetables. On approaching the boulder, the man laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. As the man picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the king indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The learned comprehend what many others never understand.

Srinivas Institute of Technology Eligibility Bachelor of Engineering:

Pass in 2nd PUC/12th Std/equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with English as one of the languages and obtained 45%of marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry/Biology/ Biotechnology/Computer Science/Electronics. In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka SC/ST and other backward classes (Category 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for eligibility will be 40% in aggregate in optional subjects in qualifying examination.
Srinivas Institute of Technology ELIGIBILITY Admission to Third Semester B.E. (Lateral Entry):
Candidates who have passed a three year Diploma in Engineering with minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the final year are eligible for lateral entry. As part of their course, such candidates will have to study additional subjects as prescribed by the University.

A Candidate who has passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate (45% in Case of SC/ST and OBC candidates)
Srinivas Institute of Technology ELIGIBILITY MBA
Admission to MBA course shall be open for the candidates who have passed the Bachelor degree with not less than fifty percent i.e. integer 50% (rounding-off aggregate percent is not permitted) of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations. However, in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to **SC/ST and Category I, the aggregate percent of marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less than forty five percent i.e. integer 45%
Srinivas Institute of Technology ELIGIBILITY MCA:
Admission to MCA course shall be open for the candidates who have passed Bachelor degree with not less than fifty percent i.e. integer 50% (rounding-off aggregate percent is not permitted) of marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Programming or Computer Applications or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional or elective at Degree Level. However, in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to **SC/ST and Category I, the aggregate percent of marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less than forty five percent i.e. integer 45% (rounding -off aggregate percent is not permitted).
Provided further that a candidate who has studied and passed one of the subjects specified in the first provision in the Pre University Course with 50% of marks in that subject shall also be considered for admission. However in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Cat•I, forty five percent i.e. integer 45% (rounding -off aggregate percent is not permitted) of marks in that subject shall be Admission.

A candidate who has passed recognised Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination in BCA, B.Sc (I.T./ Computer Science) with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or at Graduate Level and obtained an aggregate minimum of integer 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MCA courses (45% of marks in Q.E. in case of SC, ST and Category•I of Karnataka candidates) However in the case of candidates from belonging to SCI STand Cat•I, forty five percent i.e. integer 45%

Admission to M.Tech. course shall be open to candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying examination with not less than 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the semesters/ years of the degree examination (cumulative sum of secured marks of all the semesters/ years divided by the sum of maximum marks). However, in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to **SC/ST/Cat•1, marks shall not be less than 45%..

Admission Through CET: COLLEGE CODE: E144
The Government of Karnataka conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) through Karnataka Examination Authority. The KEA conducts the examination every year for four subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. A candidate who wants to get admission in engineering courses appears for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics exams. As per the CET ranking students can select the college at the time of CET online counselling. Admission through Comed-K COLLEGE CODE: E138
The Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association namely “Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” COMEDK conducts entrance examination (UGET) for all students irrespective of states. Based upon the rank, the students have an option to select the college of their choice during counselling.
Admission through Management
Selections will be made in accordance with the Government regulations prevailing at the time of admission. Successful candidates will have to get themselves admitted immediately depending on the seat availability.
