Latest Updates – The Staff Selection Commission has released an important notification again SSC MTS Paper-I examination Dates. The examination will be conducted from 16th September to 31st October 2017.
SSC is making the recruitments for the posts of Multi-Tasking Staff in a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States / Union Territories.
SSC MTS Application Fee
The Application Fee for SSC MTS 2017 is Rs. 100/–
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category are exempted from paying the application fee. In addition to this, female candidates are also exempted from paying the application fee for SSC MTS 2017 exam.

The definition of Ex- Serviceman is listed below for the reference:-
(i) Who ‘has served in any rank whether as a combatant or noncombatant in the Regular Army, Navy and
Air Force of the India Union, and
(a) Who either have been retired or relieved or discharged from such service whether at his own request or being relieved by the employer after earning his or her pension; or
(b) Who has been relieved from such service on medical grounds attributable to military service or circumstances beyond his control and awarded medical or another disability pension; or
(c) Who has been released from such service as a result of reduction in establishment; or
(ii) Who has been released from such service after completing the specific period of engagement, otherwise than at his own request, or by way of dismissal, or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency and has been given a gratuity; and includes personnel of the Territorial Army, namely, pension holders for continuous embodied service or broken spells of qualifying service; or
(iii) Personnel of the Army Postal Service who are part of Regular Army and retired from the Army Postal Service without reversion to their parent service with pension, or are released from the Army Postal service on medical grounds attributable to or aggravated by military service or circumstance beyond their control and awarded medical or another disability pension; or(iv) Personnel, who were on deputation in Army Postal Service for more than six months prior to the 14
(iv) Personnel, who were on deputation in Army Postal Service for more than six months prior to the 14th April 1987; or
(v) Gallantry award winners of the Armed forces including personnel of Territorial Army; or
(vi) Ex-Recruits boarded out or relieved on medical ground and granted medical disability pension.

SSC MTS 2017 Exam Centre
The notification for SSC MTS 2017 was released on 31st December 2016. SSC conducts SSC MTS 2017 Exam every year at various centres all across the country.Candidates are given the option to select the centre of their choice while filling in the application form. The final allotment of the centre by SSC is done based on the choice of the candidate. If in any case there is unavailability of seat in the selected Centre, SSC will change the location as per the availability. Candidates do not hold the authority to question SSC for the same.
SSC MTS 2017 Exam Pattern
The examination of SSC MTS 2017 will be conducted in 2 different levels: Paer-1 and Paper-2.Paper-1 is an online exam which is objective multiple choice question type. Paper-2 is a pen and paper mode of examination which includes a descriptive paper in English or any other language listed in the government policies.
