The Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC CPO SI examination to recruit candidates for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF, Inspector posts and Assistant Sub Inspector post.

SSC CPO SI 2017 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for SI and ASI positions, you need to satisfy the following conditions.They are:

Age: Minimum age of the candidate should be 20 years and maximum age is 25 years as on 01.01.2017 (+3 yrs for OBC and +5yrs for SC/ ST)

Educational qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government on or before 01.01.2017.

For Sub Inspector in Delhi Police: Male candidates should possess and also carry a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

Candidates who do not have a Valid Driving License for LMV (Motor Cycle and Car) can apply for all other CAPFs posts.

SSC CPO Syllabus 2017

SSC CPO Admit Card 2017 

Applications who have applied for the SSC CPO SI Recruitment 2017 are able to download their admit card online from the official website that is www.ssc.nic.in/. SSC SI Result

Result for Paper-1 has being already declared by the Staff Selection Commission. Candidates who qualify Paper-1 will now have to appear for PET/Medical test and then who those qualify this will be eligible to appear in the Paper-2. Short listing will be done according to the performance of the candidate in Paper-1 and in Paper-2.there is no interview system the designation will be provided only to those candidates who qualify Paper-2.

 

Selection Process

The written examination consist of two papers: Paper-I will be held from 30.06.2017 to 07.07.2017 and Paper – II will be held on 08.10.2017.

 

Paper 1 will be computer based, of 2 hours duration and will have 200 questions for 200 marks. The paper will consist of four sections; General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English comprehension. Each section will have 50 questions of 50 marks.

 

Apart from English section, question paper will be set in English and Hindi languages.

 

Paper II is scheduled for October 8, 2017, will also be of 2 hours duration. It will have 200 questions for 200 marks, and questions will be asked based on English language & comprehension.
