Since then, it has grown with time. Sri Siddhartha Education Society was established in the year 1959 by shri H.M. Gangadharaiah, with the blessings of Acharya Vinobha Bhave, started with only one school, has grown consistently and has established 84 Institutions under its aegis spread across the southern part of Karnataka. The academic empire includes an Engineering College, a Medical College, a Dental College, a Nursing College, First Grade Colleges, B.Ed Colleges, Training Institutes, Sanskrit & Poly Schools, and number of high schools with a vision to take education to reach the un reached.

The Institution is one among the 14 Technical Institutions in Karnataka State, selected by the World Bank, for the award of financial assistance under Phase II of Technical Education quality improvement program (TEQIP). This assistance will be utilized to improve quality of education, research activities, establishment of center of excellence, Strengthening of Post Graduate Programme. St.Louis is the Pioneer in running Program For Air craft Industry in USA. They have the Pilot training programme – one of the oldest in the world. You should have passed any recognized under graduate examination or equivalent examination with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Applications or Computer Programming or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects and have obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years of the Degree Examination. There is a requirement of 45% of the aggregate marks in in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates.
How to Apply
ME/M.Tech & MCA
The following are the step by step method of filling in the application form of the University:
Step 1: You should enter all the valid details in the online form that is available on the official website of KEA under the PGCET form. After the candidate has completed filling in the information, a login id and password is generated for the candidates to have access to their application forms.
Step 2: The candidates are required to upload their recent passport photograph in the JPEG format.
Step 3: Download the form and take a print of the challan that has three parts to it. Candidates of Karnataka will have to pay an amount of Rs. 650, in case of General Category students and an amount of Rs. 500 for SC/ST category students for each course applied for. The candidate is supposed to pay the requisite amount in any of the specified branches of the specified banks. The bank will retain its own copy and return the rest two copies to the candidate.
Step 4: The candidates are then supposed to take a print out of the application form on an A-4 size sheet. They should then affix the passport size photographs, signature, left-hand thumb impression on the given space. The signatures of the Principal and seal should be put on the form from their former university of undergrad.
It is necessary for the candidate to remember that he/she shall retain a copy of the bank challan and also the password and id that is provided to them.
Selection Process
ME/M.Tech & MCA
The selection of the candidates depends on the rank and merit that they score in the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test that is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority. The exam would be necessary to become eligible to apply for the M.Tech. and M.C.A programmes.
The candidates who have valid scores in GATE, will have to necessarily apply to the online application to become eligible to apply to these courses but they do not need to appear for the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test, i.e. the PGCET.
