Sapthagiri Engineering College Training
Training is an important tool for the placements as these will help the students to know and get prepared to enter the corporate world. In the view of this at Sapthagiri College of Engineering, we have special training programs for students starting from Semester 1 which will go parallel with the academics till the 100% placements. The program is called “Career Connect Placement Oriented Training Program”.

- Mrs. Ancy Thomas, Assistant Professor, Mrs. Ragini Krishna, Assistant Professor and Mrs. Pathanjali C Assistant Professor were awarded with the Partnership Level Certificate for their contributions towards Campus Connect Foundation Program during January – December 2015 during the Inspire excellence award event.
- Prof. Prerana Chaithra who has vast experience in corporate as well as in teaching. She is heading the department for more than 7 years. She has won National award for philanthropic work and two International awards in the field of Engineering and Education awarded by Prime Minister of Thailand. She has received GNU Affero General Public License for “G events” an Event Alert System by Free Software Foundation, Inc.
- Department of ISE has got 3 ranks and 4 Gold medals(1st rank by Sushma J. with 3 Gold Medals , 2nd rank by Akshay Kumar S in 2010-11 and 8th rank by Ramya R. Varna in 2012-13 with 1 Gold medal) in the VTU exams. ISE student Dishala has won the “Best Outgoing Student of the Year” in 2015.
- Student forum “arISton”( Excellence Redefined ) was formed under which various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities take place. ISE students won first place in SANKALP 2008.
