S.J.B.Institute of Technology Admission

The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)-New Delhi and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU)- Belgaum.

Admission to BE, a minimum of 45 % marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the P.U.C. examination of Karnataka or its equivalent examination is a must. In case of SC/ST candidates, this percentage is fixed at 40%. Foreign/NRI students are also admitted to the B.E. courses. They must hold a valid student VISA.

Admission to M.Tech, course shall be open to candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying (BE/B.Tech) examination with not less than 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the semesters / years of the degree examination (cumulative sum of secured marks of all the semester / years divided by the sum of maximum marks). In case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST/Cat -1, marks shall not be less than 45%.

Admission to MBA, course shall be open for the candidates who have passed the Bachelor degree with not less than fifty percent i.e. integer 50% (rounding – off aggregate percent is not permitted) of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations. In the case candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Cat-1, the aggregate percent of marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less than forty-five percent i.e. integer 45% (rounding –off aggregate percent is not permitted).

The application and prospectus can be obtained from the college office on payment of cash of Rs. 500/- or by sending a D.D. for the said amount in favour of “The Principal, SJB Institute of Technology, Kengeri, Bangalore South”.

The fee structure is as per the norms prescribed by the Government of Karnataka and is in par with the structure prevailing in other unaided Engineering Colleges in the State. In case of NRI quota, the fees for the entire course to be paid in US$ as stipulated by the orders of the Government of Karnataka. Note that the students will legally bind any revision in the fees and admission procedure.

Instructions to make Fee payment.

  1. Login to https://campus.uno/sjbitusing your login credentials provided by the institution.
  2. Click on the Payments link on the header menu and select the “Make Payment” button.
  3. In the Make Payment page enter/select the information appropriately,
  • Payment amount– Enter the amount you need to pay (you need to check with the accounts office for the payment amount details)
  • Payment for– Select the appropriate option you are making the payment for
  • Note– You can write a note for reference
  • Payment Mode– For the convenience of the student we have provided various modes of Payment, you can use any of the below options and fill in the payment details appropriately.
    1. Payment by NEFT/RTGS/IMPS– Kindly note the Bank account number and the IFSC details displayed to ensure the correct transfer of the payment.
    2. Payment at Bank– Payment can be deposited at our Bank, kindly note the bank details are mentioned here.
    3. Online Payment– Make an online payment through Debit Card, Credit Card or Netbanking.

Note: Payment by DD  Submit to the College Account Section (Mention the Candidate Name and University Seat Number(USN) back side of the DD Compulsorily) and collect the receipt.
