Directorate of Research and Medical Education, Punjab will not conduct any separate entrance test. The admissions are available in nearly 8 medical colleges having 800 seats and in 11 dental colleges with 1200 seats in the Punjab state. The admission will be given based on the state quota seats of Punjab. The remaining seat will give according to India Quota seats. It is necessary that the candidate has to apply for the NEET and qualify in it. NEET exam has conducted every year in the month of May 2018.
For General candidates, the application fee is Rs. 5000/-. SC/ ST candidates the application fee can pay Rs.2500/- for any of the courses. The application fee has to pay via bank Challan.

Punjab PMET 2018 Application Form
- Eligible candidates can get the application form from the official website to apply for Punjab PMET 2018.
- Candidates have to apply only via online mode. There is no another way to apply for the same.
- Candidates will be able to apply for the month of April 2018.
- Candidates need to take a hard copy of submitted application form.
Punjab PMET 2018 Eligibility
Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have qualify intermediate examination from a govt approved board with PCB and English individually.
Domicile: Candidates must have a Punjab Residential Certificate.
Required Minimum Marks:
- General Category Candidates:50% aggregate marks.
- PWD Category Candidates:45% aggregate marks.
- SC / ST Category Candidates:40% aggregate marks.
Eligible Candidates: Candidates who are pursuing qualifying examinations, also able to apply for Punjab PMET 2018.
Application Fee
- Prospects Fee: Rs. 200/-.
- General and OBC category candidates have to pay Rs. 5000/-.
- SC / ST category candidates need to pay only Rs. 2500/-.
- In case of not apply in given frame time, candidates have to pay the application fee with late fee of Rs. 500/-.
Admit card
The candidates can download the Rajasthan PMET 2018 admit card from the official website from 3-4 days before the date of exam. Your admit card will contain some important details about exam schedule, venue and roll number etc. Candidates should bring a hard copy of the hall ticket/admit card along with an ID proof to the examination hall failing which they not be allowed to enter in the examination hall.
PMET (NEET) Exam Pattern
Candidates appearing PMET exams have to complete their paper in mentioned hours. As per board law candidate will not give extra time to complete paper. Candidate will ask objective type questions with multiple optional answers for each question. The time duration for PMET is 3 hours.
In exams Question, the paper pattern will be in OMR form. There will be the total of 200 objective type questions. The exam paper will be conducted in 2 different language that is English and Hindi. Candidates have to choose for their suitable language. There one will be only one question paper. For each correct answer, a candidate will be given 4 marks. There will be no negative marking.

PMET 2018 Result
The result of PMET 2018 will be published during the month of May 2018. Candidates can check their result through online mode from the official web portal, by providing required information. The selected candidate will be called for counselling process. Based on the performance of the candidate, a separate merit list will be prepared by the university which contains the name of selected candidates.
PMET Counselling
After the result announcement, PMET selection process will start. Candidates have to fill and submit the application form on official website of the PMET or other notified centres and obtain Acknowledgement card with registration number as a proof of form submission. The admission will be provided to the in MBBS/BDS programmes.
If after the counselling the seat remains vacant then the admission will be done on the basis of HSSC that is 10+2 marks (qualifying exam). The procedure for seat allotment will be released on 24th of the July.
Admission will be done on the basis of candidates score marks in entrance exams. Candidate appearing counselling has to bring all required documents for registration and verification. If candidates have submitted incorrect document candidates admission will be cancelled. The candidates will be assigned the seats on the basis of merit list. Counselling process will comprise of registration, online document verification, choice filling and locking, counselling and seat allotment. After seat allotment, students have to report to the allotted college with required documents and prescribed fees.
