About Moodlakatte Institute of Technology
Moodlakatte Institute of Technology, Kundapura – MIT Kundapura(MitK) is founded by Shri I. M. Jayarama Shetty in the year 2004. It is affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technological University (VTU), Belagavi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is situated in Moodlakatte, about 200 meters from Kundapura railway station.

1. Computer Science & Engineering
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was started in the year 2004 and offers Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science & Engineering) with intake of 60.
2. Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering at the MIT – Kundapura has a long and compelling history. The foundations of the department were laid by outstanding scientists and professors.
3. Electronics & Communications Engineering
The most sought after course in dynamic field. Students learn well established technologies and emerging trends in Signals and Systems, Digital Signal Processing.
4. Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Making use of modern simulation software / hardware tools and techniques to analyze, present and solve Electrical & Electronics Engineering problems.
5. Civil Engineering
Go for civil engineering, because civil engineering is the branch of engineering which teaches you the most about managing people. Managing people is a skill which is very, very useful and applies almost regardless of what you do.
6. Master of Business Administration – MBA
Aims at nurturing a new generation of youth through providing quality education and skills matching the requirement of a harmonious, self-reliant and developed society where they work.

Outdoor facilities: Two clay courts for volleyball with channelling and fencing, a football court, a cricket ground and a multipurpose ground for Track and Field events.

A team of full-time (24 Hrs) Security Officers patrol the campus. These team answer emergency and routine phone calls, monitor security cameras.
