MNR college of Engineering and Technology is one of the premier Engineering Colleges in the Self-Financing category in Telangana. MNRCET is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

The college offers instruction in Under Graduate Program (Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering). For the last three years, about 75 to 80% of our students provided with jobs through college placements cell. MNRCET wins TCS Best Student-Project Award

TCS Best Student-Project Award is aims to promote creativity and entrepreneurship among the budding engineers. The TCS will ask for nominations from the colleges with which it has signed MoU.

TCS award for the Best Student-Project was given to Mr.T.Akhileh, Mr. Parsharamulu and Mr.Nagaraju for their project entitled “Preparation of ZnO and Fe2O3 Nanoparticles and Heat Transfer Enhancement by using ZnO and Fe2Om Nanofluids in a Concentric Tube Heat Exchanger” by Mr V Rajanna, TCS Vice President and Regional Head. The project was done by students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, MNR-CET. The award comprises a gold medal, a certificate and a cash price. This award was presented by Mr. V Rajanna, Vice President & Regional Head during the awards ceremony held in TCS Deccan Park Campus, Hyderabad.

Admission Procedure:             

Course: B.Tech (All Branches)

Duration: 4-Years,

Quota: Convener

70% Admissions are taken under Convener Quota

Qualification : The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Telangana State or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.

All the eligible candidates for admission into First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of Telangana.

Quota: MANAGEMENT QUOTA

30% of the seats are under management quota.

Qualification: A student should either have obtained a rank or should have secured a minimum aggregate percentage of 50% in group subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana or any other examination recognized by the Government of Telangana as its equivalent.

Note: No reservation biased or any other concession will be given under Management Quota

Lateral Entry–

20% intake based on the merit in ECET, under lateral entry scheme

Course: B.Tech (All disciplines)

Duration: 3 years

Qualification: The minimum qualification for admission to Lateral Entry of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Diploma stream conducted by the State board of Technical education, Govt. of Telangana State or any other examination recognized as equivalent.

All the eligible candidates for admission into Lateral Entry second Year shall have to qualify in the E-CET Examination conducted by the Govt. of Telangana.
