Methodist College of Engineering & Technology is a Non-Minority Educational institution, established in the year 2008, over 6.53 acre sprawling campus, situated at Abids, in the heart of the city of pearls, Hyderabad (Capital city of Telangana state). The college is well connected by public transport from every corner of the city. MCET is affiliated to Osmania University at the state level and with AICTE in the Central level.

Below mentioned are the details of our fee structure for all B.E, MBA and M.E courses we provide.

Scholarships Eligibility Criteria for B.E/M.E and MBA 

Students Eligible

  • Students who belong to the categories of SC, ST whose annual parental income is Rs. Two Lakhs or below and BC, EBC, Disabled Welfare.
Students not Eligible
    • Students belonging to the categories other than SC, ST, BC, EBC and DW.
    • SC/ST students whose annual parental income is more than Rs. Two Lakh and BC, EBC and Disabled students whose parental income is more than Rs. One Lakh.
    • All students pursuing the part time curses and online courses.
    • Students admitted under sponsored seas and Management Quota seats.
    • Students drawing the stipend more than the scholarship amount in aggregate per annum.
    • Students of BC, EBC and Disabled Welfare studying the courses offered by Open Universities and Distant Mode.

Stipends for M.E Courses:
No stipend/Scholarship will be paid by the college. However if the Govt. of India/AICTE sanctions and stipend/scholarship, the same will be paid to the respective eligible GATE qualified candidates. When AICTE/Govt. of India sanctioned scholarships are less than the no. of Non-Sponsored GATE qualified candidates, the scholarship will be distributed based on the merit in GATE.
Sponsored Candidates will not be eligible to receive any stipend/scholarship, even if they are admitted on the GATE score.

Admission procedure for Methodist is same as with other engineering colleges in the state i.e, through a common entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Telengana.
The Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.Tech Courses:

• EAMCET Rank – Based on merit of rank students are eligible to attend counselling.

• Student should pass Intermediate (10+2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Telengana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.

• 70% of seats are allotted based on the merit in EAMCET exam.

• 30 % of the seats are for Management / NRI candidates.

• Diploma holders are admitted through lateral entry scheme based on the merit in Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) conducted by Govt. of Telangana. Students will be admitted in second year of B.Tech to the extent of 20% of intake.
