About Malla Reddy Engineering College:
Malla Reddy Engineering College (MREC) was started in the year 2002 under the Chairmanship of Sri.Ch. Malla Reddy, M.P, who has vast experience in providing high quality technical education, on par with premier Institutions like NITs and IITs in the country. MREC was started with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to JNTUH, Hyderabad. The college is situated in a serene, lush green environment on Kompally- Bahadhurpally Road, opposite to Forest academy, R.R.District, Telangana State.
MREC is now an accreditated institution by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. The Institution has high quality infrastructure and well equipped laboratories in all departments. The college achieved autonomous status under JNTUH w.e.f 2011-12 and also conferment of autonomous status by UGC from 2014-15 for a period of 6 years. MREC Professional Education forms the first and foremost foundation for the students to achieve higher goals in life and covering various streams of Engineering & Technology and Management. Malla Reddy Engineering College (MREC) was established in the year 2002. It is affiliated toJawaharlal Nehru Technical University, Hyderabad (JNTUH). The college offers B.Tech program (960 seats) and M.Tech program (234 seats) in different specializations at UG and PG levels. It also offers MBA program with the intake of 60 seats.
- The B.Tech. aspirants should have passed the Higher Secondary Examinations (10+2) from a recognized board.
- Admission is granted on the basis of the score of TS EAMCET based on their categories i.e. Category A and Category B.
- For B.Tech programs, the candidate can apply based on their rank in the entrance tests conducted by IITs or equivalent.
- The M.Tech candidates must have a B.E/B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline.

Malla Reddy Engineering College (MREC) M.Tech & MBA Admission 2019
MREC offers M.Tech and MBA programs in various specializations. The M.Tech program is offered in two shifts. Candidates have to qualify in TS PGECET to secure admission in M.Tech course.
Admission to MBA program is offered on the basis of the score of TS ICET. Candidate qualifying in ICET will have to upload and submit the relevant documents for verification and confirmation of seat. TSCHE releases the answer key for the entrance exam on its official website.
Preference will be given to the candidates with a good score in GATE. Such candidates are exempted from PGECET at the time of final admission.

The application process for the admission in MREC is common for all the programs offered by the College which is as follows:
