KEE – Karunya University Engineering Entrance Exam – 2018


The Karunya University Entrance examination (KEE) 2018 will be conducted for admission to 13 undergraduate engineering programmes at Karunya University. KEE 2018 is a national level online examination expected to be held in the third week of April 2018 in over 27 cities of the country. The online application form is expected to be out in the second week of November and the KEE admit card will be released in the first week of May. The duration of KEE will be of 1 hour and candidates have to attempt total fifty questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and General Aptitude. The result of KEE will be declared online in May 2018. Counselling will be held at the university campus on the basis of scores obtained by candidates in KEE 2018. KEE Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination in first attempt with minimum 50% marks aggregate in Physics. Chemistry and Mathematics and should have qualified in KEE 2017.


Important: Candidates appearing for the 10+2 examination in March/April of respective year are also eligible to apply. However they should have studied in regular, full-time, formal stream in the school.


Age Limits:

Candidates should not have completed 21 years.


Application Fee

  • The application fee is Rs. 1000/- for Indian Nationals/USD 60 for NRI or Foreign Nationals.
  • The application fee can be remitted by online mode through net banking/credit card/debit card.
  • The fee can also be paid through DD which should be drawn in the favor of ‘The Registrar, Karunya University, payable at Coimbatore’.
  • Candidate can also transfer the fund to the Karunya University bank account.


KEE Pattern

The entrance examination will be of two and a half hours and is expected to consist of objective type questions from PCM.


KEE Syllabus

KEE consists of questions from PCM subjects of class 11th and 12th.


KEE Exam Dates

This exam is normally held in the month of April/May of every year.


How to applying for KEE Exam?

Aspirants can get the Application form and prospectus on request enclosing a crossed DD for Rs.600 (for NRI and International candidates USD 60) payable at Coimbatore drawn on “The Registrar, Karunya University”. The request must be sent to the below given address.

KEE Counselling 2018

KEE counselling will be held tentatively in the last week of May 2018. The counselling of KEE 2017 will be single window process where candidates have to deposit their fee, submit all the required documents for verification purpose. Shortlisted candidates have to visit the University campus at the time of enrollment and submit the following documents in original along with two sets of photocopies:
