Indian Coast Guard Recruitment Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering Approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) with 60% in aggregate.

Physical Standards:

  • Height – Minimum height 157 cms.
  • Chest – Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms.
  • Weight – Proportionate to height and age +-10percentage acceptable.

Age limit: 18 Years to 22 years i.e. born between 01 Aug 1997 to 31 Jul 2001 (both dates inclusive).

Relaxations: Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Indian Coast Guard Recruitment – Yantrik Selection Process:

  • The selection process will be based on Written examination, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Medical examination.
  • The written tests will be objective type. The questions paper will contain questions from their respective branch (Mechanical /Electrical/Electronics & Telecommunication) and will also include some questions of general knowledge, reasoning aptitude & English.
  • Those who qualify written tests will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and initial Medical Examination. The testing procedure will take 2-3 days.
  • Based on the performance in the written examination, candidates will be shortlisted for initial recruitment medical examination in a ratio as may be decided by the Coast Guard.

Indian Coast Guard Recruitment Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Central/State Government with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Physical Standards:

Indian Coast Guard – Detailed Eligibility:

  • Master Degree with Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Business Studies or Public Administration from recognized University or Institute;
  • One year experience in handling stores and keeping accounts in store in a concern of Central Government or State Government or University or any recognized Institutions or Bank or in a private sector organisation listed on the Stock Exchange of India.

OR

  • Bachelor Degree in Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Business Studies or Public Administration as a subject from a recognized University or Institute; Or
  • Diploma in Material Management or Warehousing Management or Purchasing or Logistics
    Public procurement from recognized University or Institute.
  • Two years experience in handling stores and keeping accounts in store or a concern of Central Government or State Government or University or any recognized Institutions or Bank or in a private sector organisation listed on the Stock Exchange of India.

Store Keeper:

  • 12th Pass from a recognized Board or University;
  • Two years experience in handling of Stores in any recognized firm or Central or State Govt. Organization or Public Sector Undertakings.

OR

  • Bachelor Degree with Commerce or Economics or Statistics or Business Studies or Public Administration as a subject from a recognized University or Institute;
  • One year experience in handling Stores from any firm or Central or State Government Organisation or Public Sector Undertakings.

Age Limit:

  • Foreman of Stores: Below 30 years
  • Store Keeper: 18 to 25 years

Relaxations: Relaxable for Government Servants & others as per Government instructions issued from time to time.
