ILICAT 2018 is an entrance test conducted by ILI (Indian Law Institute). The ILICAT means Indian Law Institute Common Admissions Test. All the applicants who will appear in and be getting qualified in ILICAT 2018 will be getting admission into various Masters (LLM), PG, and PhD law programs. The campus of this Institute is located in New Delhi. The examination usually commenced once in a year.
About Indian Law Institute
Institute conducts the ILI Common Admissions Test (ILICAT) once a year in the month of April. Through the admission test, institute selects the candidates for admission into the different programmes in law. The admission to law colleges of India can be taken by qualifying ILICAT. There are various law colleges in the state offering various LLM seats for the postgraduates of ILICAT. The Instructions, Rules, and regulations are decided by the ILICAT Indian Law Institute (ILI) and in compliance with all the rules and regulations of ILICAT Law authorities and the relevant Authorities orders in place.

ILICAT 2018 – Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of ILICAT 2018 for various courses also will be different. Applicants who are applying for LLM (Masters) will be having one criterion. The criteria for PG Law Programs will not be the same for PhD Law Programs. | Qualification. | Applicants who have qualified in LLM from any recognized institute/ university by BCI (Bar Council of India) with at least minimum of 55% of marks will be eligible to apply.

| Qualification. | Applicants who have qualified in LLB from any recognized institute/ university by BCI (Bar Council of India) with at least minimum of 55% of marks will be eligible to apply. |
| Candidates who have qualified a law Degree with minimum 55% of marks from any foreign institute/ university which is affiliated to any reputed university or equivalent also eligible to apply. | |
| Appearing Candidates. | All the aspirants who are appearing for the final year examination of any of the above-given qualification are also eligible to apply.

| ILICAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria for PG Law Program

| Qualification. | Aspirants who have got a qualification in a graduate degree from any recognized university will be eligible to apply. The applicants from law graduate stream will be getting 5% weightage. |
| Candidates who have qualified in 5 years LLB (Integrated) course from any reputed institute are also eligible to apply. There will be 5 seats for each program will be reserved for these applicants. | |
ILICAT 2018 Application Form
The candidates who wish to submit his / her Online Application form are advised to go the institute website www.ili.ac.in and follow the link Admission-2018. The candidates are advised to read the instructions and guidelines carefully before proceeding to the filing of application form online. After making the required payment online towards processing fee, the candidate has to note down the transaction id for future reference.
After filling all the details in the application form, the applicant has to send/ submit the application form at the below-given address via Registered Post/ Speed Post/ Courier/ Messenger.

ILICAT Exam Pattern
The ILICAT 2018 test includes 3 parts and a total 144 multiple choice questions of subjective and objective type. The total time for the test is 150 minutes. 1 mark will be added for each correct answer given for objective type questions and ¼ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer given. Applicants will obtain 5 marks for every right answer given in subjective type questions.

ILICAT Admit Card
Candidates who have submitted their application form for Indian Law Institute LLM admissions by Registered Post/Speed Post/ Courier/ Messenger successfully will receive ILICAT 2018 admit card either in-person at the time of submission of the application form or by post or email. Candidates can download their ILICAT admit cards from an online mode on the official website of Indian Law Institute.
The official authority of ILICAT 2018 will provide this admit card to all the eligible candidates. All the applicants who are going to appear in ILICAT 2018 must carry the admit card for the same on the examination day of ILICAT 2018. Aspirants who do not have a valid admit card along with the ID card for the same will not be allowed to take the examination.

ILICAT Admission Procedure
Students who have cleared the earlier rounds of GD and viva- voce will be invited to the counseling process. Counselling will be conducted in 3 rounds on the basis of the merit list. A separate letter will be sent to the counseling so Students must keep on checking the official website for updates.
