Scholarship Examination in India

Haryana TET 2019 will be held by Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), Government of Haryana. The examination will be held in the month of December or January of that academic year. The examination will be conducted for admissions into various primary and secondary teaching positions. The application process will begin from the month of November and the notice will be provided in the official website as well as various news portals. The examination will consist of 3 levels and a separate examination will be held for each level. If candidates are interested in applying for more than one level, they must apply for each level separately. Level one is conducted for primary sections (class I to V), level two is held for lower secondary sections (class VI to VIII) and level three is held for higher secondary sections (class IX and X).

Candidates who are interested in applying for Haryana TET 2019 must do so before the commencement of the following important dates. In case the candidates missed out on any of the dates, no extensions under any circumstances will be provided for the candidates. Ths, it is in their best interest to complete all the necessary tasks immediately after the respective dates become available.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for Haryana TET 2019 must check the following eligibility criteria. No relaxation of criteria will be provided under any circumstances will be given to the candidates unless specifically mentioned as so. Applicants must check the eligibility conditions before applying because the admit cards will be given only to those candidates who meet the criteria.

  • There are no age limits mentioned for any of the levels.
  • For level 1, the applicants must have completed +2 or any of the equivalent examinations from a recognised board. The candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% in their final senior secondary examination. Candidates also should have an education degree such as a BEd or diploma in education. Candidates appearing in their final years are also eligible to apply
  • For Level 2, the applicants must have a minimum of Bachelors of Arts or Science from a recognised university or institution in the respective subjects they are applying for. They should have secured a minimum of 50% in their respective degrees. The candidates should also have a degree in education, such as a BEd or Diploma in education.
  • For Level 3, the applicants must have a postgraduate degree from a recognised university or institution in their respective subject of the application. They should have secured a minimum of overall 50% in their respective degrees. Candidates appearing in the final year of their education are also eligible to apply.
  • Relaxation of 5% in minimum marks will be provided for candidates belonging to the reserved category.

How to apply for Haryana TET 2019

Candidates who meet the above mentioned eligibility criteria can take the following procedure in order to successfully apply for the Haryana TET 2019 examination. The applications must be completed before the deadline date as only completed applications will be provided with an admit card.

  1. Go to the official website of Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test 2019.
  2. Register for an account in the examination portal if they haven’t already done so. Candidates can register for an account with a valid email ID and phone number.
  3. After registering, the candidates have to log in again into the portal with a registration number and password provided in the email.
  4. Provide necessary and correct details on all the required fields. Candidates must keep in mind that only complete applications will be provided with an admit card.
  5. After filling up the details, candidates can then proceed to upload a soft copy of their passport-sized photograph, signature and left thumb impression.
  6. Candidates then have to pay an application fee of ₹2400 for level 2 and 3 examinations, and ₹1200 for level 1 examination. For candidates belonging to SC or PH category of Haryana domicile, the application fees are ₹900 for level 2 and 3 examinations and ₹500 for level 1 examination. The payment can be done through any of the preferred online methods.
  7. After the payment of fees, the candidates can then proceed to press the SUBMIT button. Once the button is clicked the application form is submitted.
  8. Candidates can edit the application after pressing the end of the application submission deadline date.

Exam Pattern

Candidates who are going to write the exam must be aware of the examination pattern. Being aware of it allows the candidates to better prepare for the upcoming examination and avoid any surprises at the last moment. Even though it is one of the most important information students need to be aware of, it is often overlooked until the final moment before the start of the examination. This disrupts their preparation as they have to adjust for the newly available information. It is well advised to be aware of the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test before the start of the preparation of the examination.

The admit card for the examination will be released on the month of November. The admit cards will be provided only to those eligible candidates who have given complete and correct information. To get the admit card, the candidates must proceed to the official website of HTET 2019 examination and login to their respective account in the portal. By clicking on the admit card link, the admit card of the candidates will be displayed on the screen. Download the admit card and take a printout of the same, the admit card will be asked at the examination venue to gain admission into the respective halls.

Results

The results for Haryana TET 2019 will be announced after the commencement of the examination. The minimum required cutoff for teaching positions will be declared along with the results. The results can be viewed by logging into the official portal of the examination with the registration number and password given during the registration of the account. If the marks scored is above the minimum cutoff marks scored, then take a printout of it as it is to be used as a proof while allotment of teaching positions.
