Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital is an initiative of Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Government of Uttar Pradesh. The college is counted among the most prominent institutions for obtaining higher education in the field of Ayurveda. The sole aim behind the establishment of Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital was to impart quality education to the students in the field of traditional Indian medicine. It is situated in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, and boasts of modern infrastructure that offers suitable atmosphere to the students, conducive for studies. The college conducts undergraduate degree programmes in Ayurvedic medicine as per the guidelines prescribed by CCIM (Centre Council of India Medicine) New Delhi. The academic programmes of the institute are duly affiliated by Lucknow University, Lucknow.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks from any state / national board are eligible to apply. In addition, they have to qualify UPCPMT. 

The selection of the candidates is based on their Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical Test (UPCPMT) score.
