Eligibility for Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)
A pass in P.U.C in Karnataka or in any other State Boards or A Pass in XII Standard of CBSE or any other equivalent examination. An average of minimum of 45 % marks in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Electronics or Computer Science. Should have appeared for any one or more of the following Entrance Examination CET OR COMEDK and must have valid rank declared.
Eligibility Criteria For Admission to semester III
A candidate who has passed any diploma examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 45% marks taken together in all the subjects of the final year (Fifth and sixth semester) diploma Examination (Q.E) is eligible for admission to B.E courses, and 40% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Backward Classes of Karnataka candidates.The candidates must appear for Diploma Common Entrance Test for admission to B.E courses as per the schedule conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority.
Qualifying Entrance Exam
The Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test is being conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility / merit, for admission of Karnataka candidates to the Second year or Third semester full time B.E courses in Government / University / Private Aided / Private UnAided professional educational institutions in the state of Karnataka for the academic year.
Admission Procedure for B.E:
Admission to Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Karnataka will be as per the government order 2015-16. Minimum requirements for admission to Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in any stream is subject to fulfillment of all the latest elegibility criteria set by AICTE and KEA.
Ratio of Admission
Seats in Each stream will be filled based on the approved intake by the VTU and as per the Guideline s of the Government as given below:

Through COMEDK 30% of the Approved Intake

Four M.Tech Programs and one Management Program are being offered at GAT. Further all the Engineering Departments offers M.Sc by research as well as Doctoral program through its well established and recognized research center. All the PG programs are affiliated and approved by VTU and AICTE.

Global Academy of Technology College has a state-of the-art Library with a collection of more than 35000 books, 250 technical journals (69 Indian and 167 International), 3300+ CDs, 300 DVDs, etc. The Library is located in Annex Block-II of the college building occupying an area of 800 Sq meters. Entire document collection is computerized using Libsoft package. Library has a server and 10 client PC’s. The databases of Library are accessible to the PCs in the campus through LAN.
