Comparison between SSC and IBPS
IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It is a premier institute in India which is autonomous in operation and leads in providing services in the area of Human Resource to its clients, mainly banks. IBPS started its operation in 1975 and became an independent entity with the permission of Reserve Bank of India in 1984. Banks provide a respectable job. The requirement of young and energetic individuals in the banking sector has increased a lot. In Comparison between SSC and IBPS, every year they both organizes a Combined Written Examination for different positions.
Whereas SSC CGL is Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Examination is one of the biggest government job recruitment exams of India. Every year the Staff Selection Commission conducts this CGL exam for recruitment in various Central Government Departments like Central Secretariat Service, Central Vigilance Commission, Intelligence Bureau, CBI, Ministry of Railways/ External Affairs /Defence and a few other Ministries. In comparison to SSC and IBPS, SSC CGL job is a 100 % government job.

- Home Travel Concession/ Leave Fare Concession: Available to a bank PO in lieu of HRA. The lease amount varies from bank to bank and place of posting.
- Concessional interest rates for Housing/Car/Personal Loans
So, as per this criteria, both the posts are approximately equal.

SSC CGL v/s IBPS PO Transfers:
In SSC, the transfers mostly take place every 4-5 years (except in CSS jobs where you will always be posted in Delhi).In both Organisations, the transfer is on the basis of seniority/promotion.
