The Common Management Admission Test or the CMAT is carried out by the AICTE (All India Council for Technological Education). It is an online test generated by the computer. CMAT Test is a national level test which helps educational institutions chooses suitable potential candidates for admissions. These tests are normally used for management programs. CMAT programs should be permitted CMAT Result 2018
by the AICTE. It is an entrance test for Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP). The CMAT score is acknowledged by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges.
CMAT 2018 Registration is open from 20th October to 15th December 2017.
AICTE has been conducting CMAT two times in a year during the months of September and February. AICTE has now decided to hold only one CMAT Online Test from the Academic Year 2017 onwards.
For the Academic Year 2018, the CMAT Test will be on 20th January 2018.

CMAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Applicants must be a citizen of India.
Qualifying examination
Graduates in any discipline from a recognized university can apply for CMAT 2019.
Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2019-20 can also apply for CMAT
Age limit
There is no age restriction for appearing in CMAT 2019.
Number of attempts
The exam is conducted only once every year, so the candidate can appear only once per year. Though, there is no restriction in the number of attempts.
Application Fee
The fee for General / OBC candidates appearing for CMAT 2019 is expected to be Rs.1400 + Bank charges as applicable; whereas for Female/SC/ST/PWD category candidates fee is expected to be Rs.700 + Bank charges as applicable.

Payment can be done via two modes –
- Online payment:This can be done by using Credit cards/ Debit cards/ Net banking.
- Cash payment in SBI Bank:After selecting this option, 3 filled copies of the available CHALLAN should be downloaded, and on the following day only, payment can be made in the nearest SBI branch. In this mode, confirmation of the payment will take up to 48 hrs, before it is updated in the registration portal.

CMAT Result 2018
The result of CMAT 2018 exam will be declared on February 14, 2018. AICTE will release the scorecard online along with the result and the candidates will be required to download and print it. The candidates will be able to check the result by logging in to their accounts using their log in credentials. The scorecards will furnish the total as well as the sectional scores of the candidates. Apart from the score card, All India Merit List will also be published by AICTE. On the basis of CMAT result, the candidates will be offered admission in MBA programmes offered by AICTE-approved institutes.
CMAT Counselling 2018
The counselling process will be started after the declaration of merit list. A merit list will be prepared according to the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test. Candidates can appear in the counselling organized by various institutions and universities on the basis of CMAT score. Candidates have to bring the required documents and fees at the time of counselling. Seats will be provided to students on the basis of CMAT scores, filled choices and availability of seats.
