CG PAT 2019 Application Form is now available on the official website. The last date to apply is May 3, 2019. CG PAT 2019 is a state level entrance examination conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur, for admission into B.Sc. Agriculture and B.Sc. Horticulture degree courses, offered by Indira Gandhi Agriculture University (IGAU). A total of 21 colleges offer 1259 seats for B.Sc. (Agriculture), while 6 colleges offer 272 seats for B.Sc. (Horticulture) under CG PAT 2019.
- Chhattisgarh Pre-Agriculture Test (CG PAT) 2019 will be conducted on May 27, 2019
- Online Application form submission will involve 3 steps – Fill online application form, Upload photograph & signature and Payment of application fee
- CG PAT 2019 will consist of 200 multiple choice questions.
- Questions will be asked from subjects depending on the group selected by candidate
- Candidates will be asked questions from either Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology (PCM/PCB) or Elements of Science Mathematics Useful for Agriculture (AG1), Crop Production & Horticulture (AG2) and Elements of Animal Husbandry & Poultry Farming (AG3)
- Examination will be conducted only in offline mode
- CG PAT 2019 will be conducted in English and Hindi languages
- Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer, while no negative marking will be done

CG PAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Prior to commencement of online application process, it is necessary to check the eligibility criteria, which are primarily the minimum academic qualifications, residential and age thresholds for candidates to appear for CG PAT 2019. Following is the eligibility criteria:
Residential Criteria
- Candidate must be a resident of India
- Candidate must have state domicile of Chhattisgarh
Age Limit
- Age limit for candidates belonging to General category is 25 years
- Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories, along with female candidates, must be less than 28 years of age
Academic Qualifications
- Aspirants who have passed or those who are currently pursuing 12th or equivalent examination from Chhattisgarh board or any recognized board within India.
- Must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/ Biotechnology as compulsory subjects in 12thclass
- General category candidates will have to secure at least 50% marks, while SC/ST/OBC/PwD and female candidates will have to secure a minimum of 45% marks in 12th or equivalent examination
CG PAT 2019 Application Form
Application form for CG PAT 2019 can be filled only through online mode, while application fee can be submitted through online and offline ways. Following are the steps for successful completion of online application submission
- Fill Online Application Form
- Go to the official website of Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board – www.cgvyapam.choice.gov.in
- Click on the tab ‘CG PAT 2019 Application Form’
- Candidate will be asked if he/she is a citizen of India and if he/she is a domicile of Chhattisgarh or not.
- Then they have to select one of the groups – Maths Group (PCM), Biology Group (PCB) and Agriculture Group (AG1, AG2, AG3)
- Applicants will then be directed to Online Application Form
- Fill up personal, academic, correspondence and exam center details
- They will also be required to fill the following information – religion, preference of examination centers, identification marks, height, weight
- Click on ‘Submit’ tab
- Upload Photograph and Signature
- Must keep a scanned copy of recent passport size photograph and signature ready before filling the application form
- Upload both the images in the prescribed format and size
- Click on ‘Submit’ tab
- Payment of Application Fee
- Candidate has the option of either making the payment through online mode or to take a print out of SBI Challan and make application fee payment at any of the SBI branches
- If candidates opt to make payment through online mode, it can be done through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking
- Payment through offline mode, will involve taking print out of SBI Challan available at the website
- Candidate will have to fill up Challan and pay application fee at any of the SBI branches

CG PAT 2019 Admit Card
CG PAT 2019 Admit card is of extreme significance to candidates appearing for entrance test. No candidate will be permitted entry into examination center without in possession of admit card. Admit card can be downloaded from the official website of Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board during third week of May 2019.
Download the admit card through following steps:
- Go to the official website of Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board – cgvyapam.choice.gov.in
- Click on ‘Entrance Exam’ tab under Admit Card segment on right side pane
- Click on ‘Download Admit Card of Pre-Agricultural Test (PAT) 2019 Entrance Examination’
- Enter ‘Registration ID and Code’ shown in Captcha
- Click on ‘Submit’ tab
- Admit Card will appear on the screen
- Take printout of the admit card for carrying to examination center and future reference
- Following details will be mentioned on the admit card-

- Group of the candidate
- Examination center address
- Examination name and timing
- Photograph of the candidate

CG PAT 2019 Exam Center
CG PAT 2019 will most likely be conducted in 27 cities across India
- Allotment of exam center depends on complete discretion of conducting authority
- Once allotted, candidate cannot request change in exam center
- Candidate will have to appear for CG PAT 2019 at the allotted exam center only
CG PAT 2019 Exam Pattern
It is necessary for aspirants to understand CG PAT 2019 Exam Pattern in order to prepare for test accordingly. Examination pattern is as follows:
- Examination duration will be of 2 hours
- CG PAT 2019 will consist of 200 MCQs
- There will be 3 sections in question paper, depending upon the group selected by candidate
- For Mathematics and Biology Groups, questions will be asked from PCM and PCB respectively
- Candidate will have to answer 60 questions each from Physics and Chemistry, while 80 questions will be asked from Mathematics/Biology
- For Agriculture group, questions will be asked from – Elements of Science Mathematics Useful for Agriculture, Crop Production and Horticulture and Elements of Animal Husbandry and Poultry Farming
- CG PAT 2019 will only be conducted in offline mode.
- Examination will be conducted in both English and Hindi languages
- Candidate will have to mark only one of the four options given for each question on OMR sheet

CG PAT 2019 Result will be declared by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board in the month of July 2019, but can also be delayed under certain circumstances. CG PAT 2019 Merit list will be declared by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board one week after the declaration of result.
- Merit list will be prepared on the basis of Category and marks secured in examination
- Aspirants with their name in the merit list, will be eligible for attending counselling process
CG PAT 2019 Answer Key
CG PAT 2019 Answer Key will be released by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board within a week of examination being successfully conducted. Candidates can download the answer key through following steps:
- Go to the official website of Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board – cgvyapam.choice.gov.in
- Click on ‘Entrance’ under ‘Model Answer’ tab on right side pane
- Answer key for every group will be given under different head
- Click on ‘Model Answer of PAT Exam- 2019 (Name of Group)’
- Answer Key will appear on the screen and candidates can download it or print it for the purpose of calculating their tentative scores
CG PAT 2019 Counselling
All successful candidates, whose names appear in merit list, will have to register for CG PAT 2019 Counselling at the official Board website.
- Candidate will have to register for counselling procedure on the official website of Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board
- They will have to enter all the details asked for in the form
- Option to select preferred courses and colleges in which he/she seeks admission will be given to them.
- They will have to pay the requisite counselling fee and it will not be refundable in case of non-admission.
- Counselling will be conducted in 1-3 rounds, depending upon the availability of seats in both the courses
