PG Courses :

M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering :

The M. Tech programme in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at Cambridge Institute of Technology was started with a motive to provide quality education to the students with the regular intake of 36 seats. We provide advanced knowledge in different areas of computer science which is assumed to have relevance based on the needs of industry & academics.

The intention of our department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) is to train our students in the latest advancements in the field of computer architecture and integrating hardware, software, algorithms, data management, simulation, etc., as the application of these subjects is required in every field.

M.Tech in Digital Electronics :

The College has started offering M.Tech in Digital Electronics from 2017 with an intake of 18. Digital Electronics one of the most important Post graduation course of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer / Information Science and Engineering.

The department is supported by well experienced and qualified faculties. The department emphasizes on high-quality teaching and training in the laboratory. The department houses state of the art laboratory equipped with sophisticated equipment as stipulated by the university.

M.Tech in Machine Design :

The Department is fully equipped with the state of art of Laboratories having Design and Analysis of Mechanical System, Finite Element Analysis of Structures and Vibration Analysis of Systems.

Admission Process

Students who wish to seek admission to the various undergraduate programmes in engineering at Cambridge Institute of Technology, Main Campus OR North Campus may do so via one of the following processes:

Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by KEA.
COMED-K and Selection Process

Management Admission Process

Admission through Management Admission process is open to both Karnataka and non-Karnataka students. SAARC and Other Foreign students are also eligible to apply.

Eligible students (those who meet qualifying requirements as per the eligibility criteria) may contact the Admissions Department, to obtain the application form.

Candidates will be selected based on their academic merit.
Candidates must fill in the registration form. This is to be done at the College Campus.
Visit the Admissions Department, and meet the Admission Counselor.
Admission fee details will be shared with the prospective candidate.

Once the seat has been confirmed, candidates may fill out the application form and submit it along with the required documents.

Eligibility (B.E.)

A candidate who has passed 10 + 2 patterns of examination (equivalent to the two years Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at MSRIT.
The eligibility for admission is 45% in case of General Category and 40% marks in the qualifying examination in case of SC/ST, Category-1 and OBC Category candidates. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less for the required aggregate percentage for the purpose of determination of eligibility (and not for the purpose of determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).

Cambridge Institute of Technology Campus

The college has comprehensive hostel facilities for the students. Two blocks of hostels one for girls and the other for boys is separately provided to accommodate around 400 students.

The hostel is annexed with a kitchen, to provide food at protected and hygienic environment along with a dining hall, which can accommodate around 500 students at a time. Healthy and nutritive food is served. A team of 3 head cooks and 7 assistants work in the cooking section with a supporting team of housekeeping section who maintain the standards to create a healthy and hygienic environment. A clinic, with a few beds along with on-call Doctor facility for 24 Hours to take care of the health requirements of the hostel students, is also made available.
