The B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology (BVBCET), believes in kindling the spirit of this unique and creative discipline in every student who enters its portals. Established in 1947 by the KLE Society, BVBCET has achieved an enviable status due to a strong emphasis on academic and technical excellence. From a modest beginning with the college offering only Undergraduate program in civil engineering, the college has indeed come a long way with the college now offering 12 UG and 8 PG programs affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and is recognized by AICTE, New Delhi and accredited by NBA.

Current annual student intake for Undergraduate & Post Graduate programs is more than 1200. The continuous and painstaking endeavours and commitment towards education and scholarly activities of the extremely qualified and dedicated academicians and faculty members have resulted in college gaining Autonomous Status from the University and UGC.

The college has adopted the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework which catalyzes the curriculum to the needs of the industry and the society. Innovative pedagogical practice in the teaching-learning processes forms the academic ecosystem of the institution. The active involvement of faculty in research has led to the recognition of 13 research centres by the University.

Eligibility Criteria

10 + 2 (PCM) with CET/Karnataka)/ComedeK/JEE anyone Rank compulsory)
Lateral entry to B. E. Programs
(Admission to 2nd Year B. E.)
10 + 3 ( Diploma in appropriate Branch)

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
10 + 2 (Science) (NATA required)
10 + 3 (Diploma in Civil / Architecture)

Admission Procedure

Admissions for students to any of the B.E. Programs /B.Arch. are governed by the rules and regulations of Karnataka Examination authority and Director of Technical Education, Bengaluru. Students willing to join under any of the Quota must have anyone rank secured by them in CET (Karnataka) or Comed K exam or JEE at all India level.

Students were willing to take admission to B.Arch. have to appear for the online test conducted by Council of Architecture (NATA) arranged in the department of Architecture in College.
