Bharat Institute of Engineering & Technology (BIET), established in 2001 by Chinta Reddy Madhusudhan Reddy Educational Society (CRMR) under the leadership of Sri Ch. Venugopal Reddy, an eminent educationist with a social conscience and commitment. It has grown in its size and stature over the years, from an initial intake of 240 to 1308 students. BIET is one of the largest Engineering Colleges in Telangana. It offers 6 B.Tech programs, 8 M.Tech programs and 1 MBA program. With consistent and excellent academic performance of students in the University examinations, the Institute has endeared itself to many students and parents. Admissions to the Institute are made along with the other engineering colleges in the state through a common entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Telangana.

The Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.Tech Courses:

The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B.Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects. Admissions to the College are made along with the other Engineering Colleges in the State through a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Telangana.

  70 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Govt. of Telangana.

  30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates. In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in second year of B.Tech to the extent of 20% of intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET), under lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Telangana.

The Eligibility Criteria for Admission to M.Tech Courses:

The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the M.Tech course is a pass in the B.Tech. / B.E. conducted by any University or any other examination recognized as equivalent. Admissions to the College are made along with the other Engineering Colleges in the state through a common entrance test (PGECET/GATE)

   M.Tech – Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI): B.E / B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering / Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering with valid GATE score / based on the rank obtained in the test conducted by JNTUH.

   M.Tech – Computer Science & Engineering: B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with valid GATE score / based on the rank obtained in the test conducted by JNTUH.

   M.Tech – Power Electronics and Electric Drives: B.E / B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with valid GATE score / based on the rank obtained in the test conducted by JNTUH.

   M.Tech – Embedded Systems: B.E / B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering with valid GATE score / based on the rank obtained in the Test conducted by JNTUH.

   M.Tech – Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM): B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with valid GATE score / based on the rank obtained in the test conducted by JNTUH.

   M.Tech – Structural Engineering: B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering with valid GATE score / based on the rank obtained in the test conducted by JNTUH.

The Eligibility Criteria for Admission to MBA Course:

The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the MBA course is a pass in Degree (B.Sc./B.Com./BCA) conducted by any University or any other examination recognized as equivalent. Admissions to the College are made along with the other Engineering Colleges in the state through a common entrance test (ICET).

  70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) conducted by Govt. of Telengana.

  30% of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates.
