Alvas Institute of Engineering Technology Eligibility UG Admission:
- Admission to the engineering colleges in Karnataka is centralized and is through CET/COMED-K
- The eligibility criteria for B.E. programme : Pass in Pre-University /10+2/or any equivalent examination, with 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories) in Physics, Mathematics and one of the following as optional subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Electronics or Bio- Technology, English should be one of the subjects
- Students who have successfully completed three years Diploma with minimum 50% overall aggregate marks are also eligible for admission to II year on Lateral entry basis.(Applicable only for Karnataka students)
- Eligibility for Admission to MBA programme: Admission to MBA is through KEA-PGCET/K-MAT/CAT examinations. A candidate seeking admission should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum aggregate marks of 50% in the qualifying examination considered for declaring the class.
- For any information regarding the admissions:
- Our Institution is following guidelines issued by the council regarding refund of fee on cancellation of admission.
- Submit the documents in the same order as listed above.
- Originals should accompany four sets of all marks cards duly attested.
- Completed application should be submitted along with original testimonials.
- The candidate should have scored not less than 45% (40% for OBC) of marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the subjects of Chemistry/Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science.
