About AJ Institute of Management College
AJ Institute Of Management College (AJIM), Mangalore was established in 1999 under Laxmi Memorial Education Trust. It is affiliated to Mangalore University, Mangaluru. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and recognised by Government of Karnataka. The mission of the institute is to impart value-based management education, designed to prepare young men and women for leadership positions in corporate and non-corporate sectors through a relentless pursuit of excellence in teaching, research, consultancy, management development and industry-institution interaction in the country and abroad.

Eligibility
Candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree of a recognized University in any discipline with minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and category I candidates). Those students whose degrees are considered equivalent by the Mangalore University shall be eligible for admission to MBA, subject to the rules of selection procedure for admission to MBA. Weightage is given to candidates who have work experience in industry/business/armed forces/government, at a supervisory level and those who are sponsored by industry/business houses or family owned business, subject to their qualifying in the test and being called for group discussion and interview. Weightage is also given to additional professional qualifications in chartered accountancy, cost accounting and company secretary ship. Students appearing for final degree examination in the previous year are also eligible to apply, provided the results are made available by the end of July, in the admission year.
Duration
The programme shall extend over a period of 4 semesters of 14 weeks each, including period of preparation and examination.
Fees Structure of AJ Institute of Management College
1. Management quota: Rs. 2,55,000/- as 2 years package.
2. Government quota : Government fees + Rs. 25,000 per annum.

The hostel facility is available for both boys and girls students separately with accommodation capacity of 150 male students and 100 female students.

The AJ Institute of Management College (AJIM) was established to develop a galaxy of world class managers in the globally competitive market. AJIM, with its quest for excellence in management training and research, imparts all the required skills and competencies to its trainees, for managing the complex business organizations of today. The Institute’s Placement Department takes care of the Training requirement, Internship and the Final Placement of the students.
