Aditya College Of Nursing founded in the year 1998, affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences approved by Indian Nursing Council under the Nursing Director Prof M V Yashodhamma.

Admissions & Eligibility Criteria:

Post Basic B.Sc
Duration: 2 Years
Eligibility:

  • Pass in GNM after 10+2 or equivalent examination preferably with respective state /country.
  • Candidate should be a registered Nurse and registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
  • No candidate who is above 48 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission will be eligible.
  • Foreign nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) seeking admission to Post Basic B. Sc Nursing bsc in bangalore program must have valid certificate of registered nurse by their own country.

 

B.Sc Nursing
Duration: 4 Years
Eligibility:

  • Candidates should have completed 17 years on or before the 31st day of December, of the year of admission.
  • Candidates should have passed any other examination conducted by Boards/Councils/Intermediate education established by the State Government/Central Government and recognized as equivalent to the two-year pre-university examination by RGUHS/Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with English as one of the subjects, and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects, and the candidate should have passed English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology individually.
  • Candidates must have obtained a minimum of not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English taken together in the qualifying examination. With respect to candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes or other backward classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English taken together in the qualifying examination should not be less than 40% instead of 50% as mentioned above.
  • In case of candidates from the stream of Vocational Higher Secondary Course, conducted by the Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala; the candidates should have taken a minimum of 5 subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, in addition to the vocational subject.
  • Foreign nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) seeking admission to Basic B Sc Nursing program candidates should have qualified 12th standard obtained by association of Indian University/ Institution/ Council or equivalent that has been prescribed by Indian Nursing Council.

Graduation Mandatory Courses : B.Sc, B.Sc(Post Basic)
Candidate must be registered with the State Nursing Council as a registered nurse and registered midwife. For candidates having Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing degree, no experience is needed.
