About A V K College Of Nursing:

A V K College Of Nursing have aim is to amalgamate all aspects to make the students as true citizens. A V K College Of Nursing was formed in the year 2000 under the initiative of Founder Trustee and hairmanship of Dr. Rajeev Rai with a motto to “Educate a Child in True Sense” and to impart professional degree courses in Computer Applications, Bio-Technology, Microbiology and Nursing to meet the immediate challenges in promoting entrepreneurship and facilitates effective technology transfer to the user. These courses are all set to open up new vistas, existing avenues for the students by promising excellent career opportunities at national and International levels .

A V K College Of Nursing Courses:

General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)
B.Sc. Nursing
Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
M.Sc. Nursing

GNM – (Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery)
Duration – 3 years

Eligibility:

Minimum age should be 17 and maximum is 35
Minimum Education 10 + 2 Pass or equivalent ( Any Group)

B.Sc Nursing – Basic B.Sc Nursing
Duration : 4 years

Eligibility:
Minimum Age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31^st Dec of the year of admission and maximum 35 years.

M.Sc Nursing- M.Sc Nursing
Duration : 2 years

Eligibility:

Pass in B.Sc (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing Degree or Post Certificate B.Sc Nursing from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka or any authorized University.
Minimum of 1 year of experience after obtaining B.Sc (Nursing) Basic, in a hospital or in an Educational Institution or community Health Setting. For Candidates with Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing Degree, no such experience is needed after graduation.
