Admission Process
Apply online and Register for Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2019 / Choose the JEE Mains option.
Submit your academic preference (campus + branch) prior to the counselling
Register for online counselling after the publication of results.
Accept the seat offer if satisfied with the allotment.
Pay tuition fees online.
Satisfy the eligibility criteria by producing the original marks statement at the time of document verification.
Eligibility
Age: Candidates, whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1998. Educational Qualification: A pass in 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination with minimum 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects.

The beginnings of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham can be traced to 1994 when a School of Engineering was started in an obscure village named Ettimadai, at the foothills of Bouluvanpatty ranges of the Western Ghats in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu. As Amrita’s first campus, Coimbatore is home to the administrative headquarters of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
A lot of emphases is placed on eco-friendly and conservation practices. Wastewater from the hostels and faculty and staff quarters is treated using EM; no chemicals are used in the process. Organic fertilizers are made using vermicompost, pesticides have been avoided since the very beginning.
The institution’s Coimbatore campus is home to Schools of Business, Communication, Engineering and Social Work.
