RVSCET approved by AICTE and affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai is marching towards a new era in education was established in the year 2007 by our Chairman Dr K. V. KUPUSAMY, and the college has attained the role of “Holistic Education” right from the start. The college is located 14 km away from the cotton city of Coimbatore, spread over a sprawling campus area of 200 acres bordered by the serene beauty of Southern India. RVS is well connected by buses moving to various places in propinquity. RVS is attaining eminence as the favourite target for Engineering Education, for its immaculate infrastructure, outfitted with the best of facilities over a rambling campus area. Various courses offered are B.E. (CSE, ECE, EEE, MECH, and PCE), M.E (EDEC), M.E(EST), M.E (CS), M.E (CSE) and M.E (Thermal).

Our College is one of the earliest self-financing, non-minority colleges in Tamilnadu started by the RVS Educational Trust in 1985.
It is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. It offers 7 UG Courses, 7 PG Courses, MBA, MCA and Full-time PhD in Mechanical Engineering. Its main objective is to provide technical education of high standard to the young aspirants in the remote areas of Tamilnadu to pursue an engineering education. RVS Educational Trust has widened its horizon from Technical Education to all popular disciplines including Medicine and Agriculture with more than 110 institutions under its fold. The Trust has provided the infrastructure of very high quality facilitating the students to comprehend engineering subjects and acquire the required skills for their career.
The College is situated 8 Kms from Dindigul town on the Karur road via Gujiliamparai.
