Method of Admission

Candidates can vie for admission through either PESSAT/ MAT (if above 500 composite score)/ CAT (if above 50th percentile)/ CMAT (if above 50th percentile)/ GMAT/ GRE scores. Candidates in any of the above cases should attend GDPI at PES Institute of Technology Ring Road Campus and only if they clear GDPI along with valid entrance test score can they proceed with admissions. Candidates who have registered for PESSAT or selected PES Institute of Technology in option entry during MAT registration will automatically get a call from PES for GDPI sessions. Others should approach the University for GDPI dates. Candidates appearing through PGCET should get the admission order from PGCET cell after attending counseling.

Eligibility Criteria

50% aggregate marks in 10+2 and should have studied mathematics as a mandatory cPESITse OR 50% aggregate marks in 3 year diploma (any stream recognized by Central or State Government) with Mathematics as compulsory subject OR International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 years of schooling with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. 50% overall score in NATA/JEE Main paper 2 required. Candidates can also be admitted through KCET counseling.

Method to Admission

Candidates should register for PESSAT but the test will not be conducted by PES Institute of Technology. Instead, after registering to PESSAT, the candidate should upload their NATA/ JEE score once they get it along with their 12th/ 2nd PU scores. PES Institute of Technology will announce ranks based on the uploaded ranks and scores and will conduct counseling based on these ranks. Candidates appearing through KCET should attend counseling at KCET cell and get admission order to PESIT University for admissions. Provisional blocking of seats through higher fee/management/NRI/PIO/OCI/Sponsored quota is also possible.
