About JSS Academy of Technical Education
JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE) was established in the year 1997 at Bangalore and is under the umbrella of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysore. JSSATE is the result of the vision of our President, His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji to proactively participate in establishing a world class Institution for Technical Education. The Campus is located on a sprawling 21.17 acres land surrounded by lush green plantation on the South-Western edge of Bangalore City. The institution is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, India.

1. Library
Veritable feast of knowledge and is available to students, faculty and researchers. Housed in 2 floors with 2100-sq.mts. carpet area. It has separate Periodical section, Reference Section, Digital Library, MBA Section, Audio/Visual room, etc.
Our state-of-the-art auditorium has a seating capacity of 300. JSS Academy of Technical Education College auditorium has a high-end equipment for sound and video. In addition to college functions, the auditorium is offered to companies and organizations to conduct large events and meetings.
JSS Academy of Technical Education College provides faculty and students with bus services from all parts of the city to the Institute. The buses are comfortable, safe and economical, being subsidized by the Institute.
The fitness centre at JSS Academy of Technical Education College is setup in boys hostel. It offers the weight training equipment to its faculty and students.
JSS Academy of Technical Education College has a large team of professionally-trained security personnel patrolling and guarding the campus 24X7 to ensure safety of students, staff and infrastructure. The complete campus is under CCTV surveillance.
6. WiFi campus
JSS Academy of Technical Education College is an Wi-Fi enabled campus, all students are given access to the Wi-Fi network. In addition an digital library centre with 30 computers are made available to the students to access online resources. Both the Wi-Fi and wired connectivity is powered a 300 mbps.
Large playing fields support a wide variety of games, such as Cricket, Football, Volleyball. There are also dedicated spaces for Indoor sport, including Table Tennis, Chess, and Caroms. Our Outdoor facilities include a 200-metre athletic track and courts for Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, and Throw Ball. JSS Academy of Technical Education College also has a gymnasium facility with areas marked for Yoga.
There is a hygienic vegetarian canteen is setup in college campus long with wide varieties of dishes.
There are ATMs set up by the Corporation Bank on campus to help students and faculty with banking transactions.
JSS Academy of Technical Education College has separate hostels for boys and girls with a range of rooms and a variety of services that make living on campus safe, comfortable and affordable.

Training & Placement Cell at JSSATE – B provides full training & placement assistance to its students in all areas of professional education. It consists of dedicated and well experienced placement team who constantly explores new avenues of Industry Institute Interaction & Linkages across all the sectors of industry.
The career development process includes self-awareness, career exploration, and job placement. In order to realize this process, the Training and Placement Office performs the following activities.
Training & Placements at JSS Academy of Technical Education
Training & Placement Cell at JSSATE -B invites various companies for conducting campus recruitment drives for students. It results in mutually beneficial outcome for both the stake holders. For companies they get fresh engineering graduates from the talent pool and students also can secure best job offers before they graduate.
The Training and Placement Cell ensures and takes care to provide the best arrangements and hospitality for the visiting companies’ officials. It provides all audio – visual facilities for PowerPoint Presentations, written test, group discussion and interviews.
Training & Placement Staff will be available to respond to students’ concerns which may include advice on placement procedures, assistance for preparation of resumes and practice sessions for interviews. The aim is to ensure that students have the information and skills necessary for an effective job search and the students must secure job offers before they complete their program of studies and leave their Alma Mater.

Arranging In plant training/ Internship for Final year students
Practical Training is a very important component of the curriculum meant for the students and a valuable tool for Industry – Institute interaction. As a part of the curriculum, arrangements will be made for the students to undergo practical training for specific period (4 months for B.E. students and 1 year for M. Tech. students) during winter and summer vacations in Multinational / National/ Private / Public Sector Undertakings / Government Departments, Research Laboratories / Institutes and Academic Institutes.
The Internship is the milestone of the student’s academic career. Teamed with the information gathered in the classroom, this experience is a substantial way to prepare them for their future employment.
