Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering VVCE – A Centre of Excellence in Technical & Management Education
Vidyavardhaka Sangha (VVS) stands as a synonym for quality education in the heritage city of Mysuru. VVS was established in 1949 by great visionaries namely Late Sahukar Channaiah and Late. K. Puttaswamy (Former Minister of Karnataka) to impart quality education to all sections of the society. There are ten educational institutions starting from nursery to engineering college under the aegis of VVS. At present, Sangha is under the able guidance and leadership of Sri Gundappa Gowda, President, Sri Shivalingappa B, Vice President, Sri P. Vishwanath, Secretary and Sri S N Lakshminarayana, Treasurer.

Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering is one of the prestigious engineering college in Karnataka. Established in 1997, VVCE has grown in leaps and bounds since inception. VVCE is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, approved by AICTE, New Delhi and recognized by Govt. of Karnataka. VVCE functions through its Board of Governors constituted as per AICTE guidelines. The college is under the able leadership of Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda as Principal, who has rich experience in industry and education field both in India and abroad. Five UG programs are accredited by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi. The college has excellent infrastructure coupled with qualified and passionate faculty team to provide a perfect learning ambiance. The college has taken stringent measures as per AICTE norms to prevent any incidents of ragging.

Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA  UG COURSES:
Candidate should have passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the Languages and obtained a Minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer. (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates).
Candidate should have qualifying rank in either CET or COMEDK entrance test.

Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA  PG COURSES:
M.TECH (COMPUTER SCIENCE/MACHINE DESIGN/SIGNAL PROCESSING):
The minimum aggregate percentage in eligibility examination (Bachelor’s degree, BE/B.Tech) for admission is 50% for GM and 45% in case of SC/ST, and qualifying rank in either PGCET/GATE is a must. Out of the total seats, 80% is filled through KEA and 20% through Management.

MBA
The minimum percentage in eligibility examination (Bachelor’s degree BBM/B.Com/B.Sc/BA/BE, etc) for admission is 50% for GM and 45% in case of SC/ST; and qualifying rank in either PGCET/KMAT/CMAT is a must.
Out of the total seats, 50% is filled through PGCET by KEA and 50% through Management.
Invitation of applications for filling Management seats in MBA/M.Tech will be done sometime during July/August.

CET QUOTA:
For CET Quota test is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority for candidates of Karnataka Domicile. For details log on to www.kea.kar.nic.in

COMEDK QUOTA:
For COMEDK quota, test is conducted by Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association Authority, for both Karnataka and non-karnataka candidates. For details log on to www.comedk.org

Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering MANAGEMENT QUOTA:
For Management quota seats, VVCE invites applications from eligible candidates, that is those who fulfill the minimum norms required for admission as specified above, and based on personal counselling, these seats are allotted on merit among st the candidates applied. For details on obtaining applications, counselling, etc, the same will be announced/hosted on this site shortly (some time in May/June).

If U choose to withdraw Ur admission, will U get refund of  fees paid to VVCE 
Yes, refund will be made after deducting a processing fee if the request for withdrawal is submitted to VVCE before closure of the admission date (normally before 1st August).

Tuition fee as fixed by the Government of Karnataka/ COMED- K for the academic year 2018-19 is as mentioned below:
Tuition fee for B. E. admitted through CET: Rs.50,500/- per year
Tuition fee for B. E. admitted through COMED-K: Rs.1,70,000/- per year

Other fees/University fees payable at the time of admission for the academic year 2018-19 is as mentioned below:
