Courses Offered by Alpha College of Engineering:
Diploma Courses:
- Electronics and Communications Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Duration: 3 years (6 Semesters) – Full Time
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed SSLC/10 with 35%.
UG Courses:
The Alpha College of Engineering offers graduate programs in the following areas of Engineering. These courses consist of eight semesters over duration of four academic years.
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Electronics and Communications Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
These courses are affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and approved by A.I.C.T.E., New Delhi & Government of Karnataka.
The Computer Science laboratories are equipped with the latest hardware and software technology. The laboratory provides connectivity to the World Wide Web. The Physics, Chemistry and Mechanical Workshop Laboratories have necessary infrastructure for conducting experiments prescribed by the University for first year students.
Master of Technology:
- Computer Network Engineering

Duration: 2 years (4 Semesters) – Full Time
Eligibility of Alpha College of Engineering:
Candidates who have passed the prescribed Qualifying Examinations (PGCET(Karnataka)/GATE/PG Entrance examination of other state governments) with not less than 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the semesters/years of the degree examination (Cumulative sum of the secured marks of all the semesters/years divided by the sum of the maximum marks).

- PG Courses(M.Tech) : Rs. 1,00,000
