NMIMS NMAT 2018 Notification, Eligibility, Application, Dates, Syllabus & Admit Card

 

The registration for NMAT will open on 4^th July 2017 for admissions in its School of Business Management for academic session 2018-20 and the students, after their formal registrations in NMAT 2018, shall be able to take online test in a window period from 5^th October to 18^th December 2017 with a choice of two more retakes after first attempt. NMAT 2018 Test Centers are mentioned later in the module.

 

NMIMS Management Aptitude Test is organized every single year by the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Mumbai to award ambitious candidates admission in programs like Full Time MBA, MBA (Pharmaceutical Management), MBA (HR), MBA (Capital Market), MBA (Banking), at Mumbai campus and a 2-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management PGDM at Hyderabad and Bengaluru campuses.

NMAT 2018 – Programs & Seats

For the following full time MBA – Mumbai & PGDM – Bengaluru / PGDM – Hyderabad / PGDM – Navi Mumbai / PGDM – Indore Programmes for academic year commencing from June 2018

(i) MBA in Finance, Information, Marketing, Operations & Decision: 500 Seats

(ii) MBA in Human Resources: 60 Seats

(iii) MBA in Pharmaceutical Management: 60 Seats

(iv) PGDM (Bangaluru Campus): 180 Seats

(v) PGDM (Hyderabad Campus): 120 Seats

(vi) PGDM (Navi Mumbai Campus): 60 Seats

(vii) PGDM – Indore Campus: 60 seats

 

 

Number of Attempts

A candidate can attempt the NMAT 2018 exam thrice against a single application in a given year. These 3 attempts include the first attempt followed by 2 optional reattempts.

For example, a student appears for NMAT 2018 on 10^th October 2017 and finds his/her performance unsatisfactory then he/she can choose to reschedule the exam on the remaining days. This reattempt (if taken) will be considered the 2^nd attempt. Similarly, a candidate can schedule his/her 3^rd attempt.

 

 

Eligibility Criteria

For MBA & MBA (HR): The candidates must be the Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3/ 4) in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in the first attempt from a recognized university for MBA and MBA HR course (Mumbai Campus)

Candidates must be the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/ 4) in any discipline from a UGC recognized

University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate

The candidate must have completed graduation in the stipulated duration as per the respective University/ Institution awarding the degree

Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are not eligible to apply

 

Examination Fee

The fee structure for the NMAT 2018 Examination is as follows:

Following Mode of Payments shall be accepted for NMAT 2018:

• Net banking.
• Mobile Wallets.

Money for the rescheduling must be paid via Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express) only.

 

 

NMAT Admission Procedure 2018

The admission procedure will be started after the announcement of the result. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the examination. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Personal Interview & Case Discussion rounds. Shortlisted candidates will get their call letter from the website. No separate call letter will be sent to the candidates through email or post. Candidates have to bring the admit card & call letter for this round. After completion of the CD & PI round, the final merit list will be made. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the academic records, NMAT score, work experience and CD & PI rounds. The seat will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of the final merit list.

Results

• The final result would be declared online in the 3^rdweek of January 2018 by GMAC on the official website of NMAT 2018.
• The result will provide the candidate’s percentile score.
