Management Aptitude Test or MAT is a national-level management entrance examination used as an eligibility criterion by a large number of management institutes in India for MBA admissions. It is being administered since 1988 giving aspirants access to more than 600 B-schools across India. The test is conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association) four times in a calendar year – February, May, September, and December.
Any B-School national or international Candidate can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. The largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT will continue to be your passport to over 600 B-Schools across India.

How To Apply:
- The candidates who are going to apply in MAT 2018 are required to apply online.
- MAT 2018 Registration has been started from 2nd week of December 2017. The last date for registration is the 4th week of January 2018
- The online application form will be available on AIMA website. Candidates can obtain the OMR application form along with MAT bulletin from AIMA, New Delhi by paying the requisite registration fee.
- Check your eligibility by referring the eligibility document available on the official website of MAT 2018. The application should be completed in all respects including the filling of all necessary details and uploading of signature & photograph.
Application Fee
The applicants of all categories need to pay Rs. 1,200 /- as application form fee through Internet Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card / Demand Draft.
The candidates paying the application form fee through Demand Draft must send the print of the filled application form along with Demand Draft to AIMA, New Delhi.
MAT 2018 Exam Pattern
MAT 2018 (all sessions) shall be 2.5 hours long tests. Candidates can either choose computer-based test (CBT) or Pen/Paper test (PBT) as a mode of answering.
The test will comprise of total 200 questions each carrying 1 mark. The various sections in MAT 2018 are as follows:

How to Prepare MAT 2018 Exam
- The best source is to refer the past question papers and practice those model papers. As When we refer the previous question papers then we automatically know the important topics and type of the questions.
- Make small daily targets, weekly targets and Revise the subject or topic as many times as possible until you are perfect on that.
- Mark the questions that we feel important or tough. Have to improve faith in yourself. Motivation and planning in the study are mandatory. For good motivation visit coaching centers and motivate yourself.
