The GBU School of Buddhist Studies & Civilization was started by Gautam Buddha University with the vision of conducting higher studies and research in various subjects related to Buddhist studies and civilizations. The school offers postgraduate and research programmes at an advanced level in Buddhist studies and civilizations. It has sufficient technical and infrastructural facilities to achieve excellence in the academic front. The school is well furnished with a resourceful library having a rich and magnificent literate collection and a spacious meditation center, along with other requisite essentials within a cozy and peaceful atmosphere. School of Buddhist Studies & Civilization also provides an ideal forum for interchanging cross-cultural thoughts and ideas by organizing conventions, symposia, seminars, conferences and thoughtful lectures.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility:

Post Graduate:
One should have possessed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized University / Institute with at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) to be eligible to apply.

Doctorate:
Students who have completed post graduation in the relevant discipline (as decided by concerned School) with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST) from any recognized University / Institution can apply.
