BEEE 2018 (Bharath University) – Exam Date, Application Form, Eligibility. Application of BEEE 2018 available from Third week of March 2017. Bharath Engineering Entrance Examination or BEEE is an all India entrance examination conducted by Bharath University. The application form of BEEE 2018 for phase I has been released online on December 2, 2017. Students seeking admission to its 36 Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programs have to apply for BEEE 2018 within the given time period. Bharath University will conduct BEEE 2018 in two phases- phase I to be held in January while phase II will take place in April. As per the exam pattern of BEEE, the examination will be held in offline as well as computer-based test modes. Candidates can appear in any of the two phases and in the mode as per their convenience. To appear in BEEE, candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 50% in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2018 can also apply on for BEEE on provisional basis. BEEE Application Form 2018

The Application Forms will be issued from December onwards. There are two modes of registration 

Online with e-payment use the URL www.bharathuniv.ac.in, register and pay online 

Online with Demand Draft: Application to be filled online by visiting www.bharathuniv.ac.in/admissions, and the same can be downloaded and sent to us with the demand draft for Rs.900/- drawn in favour of Bharath University, payable at Chennai 

This has to reach us before the last date specified. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of Demand draft. Your application will be processed only upon receipt of the demand draft 

 

 

Application Cost

Application fee is INR 900/- and it should be paid through Demand Draft in the name of Bharath University payable at Chennai either to University (or) to the Corporate Office.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: The application for admission should be a resident Indian national and (i) should have studied in schools located in India in the preceding two years for admission to Undergraduate program (ii) should have studied in educational institutions in India and completed their qualifying exam

 

B.Tech
A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry

For Bio Engineering Departments a Pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology

 

B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

A pass in Diploma recognized by Central or State Government with 50% aggregate/ B.Sc. with Mathematics or its equivalent

 

B.Arch
No candidate, with less than 50% marks in aggregate, shall be admitted to the architecture course unless he/she has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics as a subject of examinations at the 10+2 level

A pass in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the council of Architecture. However, the candidates have to apply in the prescribed application form for admission to B.Arch. Program

 

M.Tech.
Any B.E./B.Tech or its equivalent examinations approved by UGC/AICTE in appropriate branch with at least 60% marks in the aggregate or equivalent CGPA are eligible for respective courses

 

M.B.A.
Any Undergraduate with first class or 60% marks or equivalent

Note: Candidates of qualifying examination can also apply on provisional basis. But at the time of admission such candidates shall have to produce the original certificate of having passed/Marksheet from the respective examination provided that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria. Failing to do so, the admission shall stand cancelled.

 

 

BEEE Exam Pattern 2018

The exam pattern of BEEE includes the types of questions, total number of questions, marking scheme, duration of the exam. The question paper is divided into three sections Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. BEEE 2018 will be conducted in the CBT as well as offline modes for 2 hours 30 minutes. Candidates will have to answer 100 questions from English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each correct answer one mark is awarded while no negative marking is applicable for incorrect responses.

BEEE Exam Centres 2018

Bharath University will release the list of exam centres where the online entrance examination for Phase I and II will be held. Previous year, the entrance test for BEEE was conducted in 87 cities for P&P test and 30 cities for CBT test. Candidates have to choose any three BEEE 2018 exam centres as per their preferences while filling the application form. The allotment of BEEE exam centres will be done on the basis of first come first serve basis. The examination centres will not be allowed while submission of the application form.

BEEE Counselling and Seat Allotment 2018

BEEE counselling 2018 will be held in the first week of May 2018. Only those candidates who are shortlisted in the merit list will be called for BEEE counselling. On the basis of the ranks, candidates have to be present in person to participate in the counselling of BEEE. The single window counselling will be held on the basis of their rank in BEEE 2018 at the university. Qualified candidates will receive a call letter from the university to attend counselling process. Candidates must carry all prescribed documents in original for verification along with two sets of photocopies. Candidates have to pay the admission fees through Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of BHARATH UNIVERSITY payable at Chennai.
