Starting of online application – 4th January 2018. Last date to submit the application form – 7th April 2018. Date of availability of admit card – 14th April 2018. Date of Exam – 6th May 2018

 

 

AILET 2018: All India Law Entrance Test conduct by the National Law University(NLU), Delhi. Eligible candidates aspiring to make a career in law must appear for the AILET. The courses available at this deemed university span, BA LLB (Hons), Ph.D. and LLM. A total of 83 seats is available for the BA LLB program. The number of seats for Ph.D. and LLM is 10 and 50 respectively. A student who aspires to study Law program as a mainstream career option will have to join at the basic level of BA LLB, which is a five-year course program. From the 83 seats, 70 are available for Indian national students. The AILET 2018-19 Cut Off marks for different caste categories vary considerably. For the general category candidate in the year 2018, the cutoff mark was 105 out of 150. This cutoff value varies each year and is set by the NLU.

 

 

About All India Law Entrance Test (AILET)

AILET is an abbreviation for All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and National Law University Delhi (NLU-D) conducts AILET. It is organized for admission in five-year integrated undergraduate law courses and two-year postgraduate law courses in the state law colleges which are affiliated with this. There are total 83 law seats in law schools of India provides for BA LLB program and for LLM it provides 50 seats. The AILET will be conducted in the second week of June 2018.

 

 

AILET 2018 Important Dates

The exam date of AILET 2018 has been announced while other dates will be announced by NLU Delhi along with AILET 2018 notification in the first week of October 2017. AILET 2018 Application Form

The Application forms for AILET 2018 exam are available from the first week in January 2018 through online mode. The Starting of online application is in 1st week of January 2018 and the closing of Online Application is 1st week of April 2018.

  • Candidates have to register themselves first and the AILET 2018 Registration will be started from 1st week of January 2018.

AILET Admit Card 2018

Aspirants who have successfully applied for AILET 2018 will be issued the admit card. The AILET admit card will be available online and to download the same, candidates are required to provide their name or application number and date of birth. The admit card of AILET 2018 will provide details about the candidate, exam, address of the test centre, exam timing and much more. Candidates are advised to make sure that all the details are correct. In case of any error in the admit card details, then they must contact the exam officials and rectify the same. Even after the conduct of the test, candidates are advised to keep the admit card till the conclusion of the admission rounds.

 

 

AILET Application Fee

The Online payment through the gateway of net banking/credit card/debit card. The Application Fee Should be Done Payment Before the Last Date of Application in the 1st week of April 2018.

AILET Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria for AILET 2018 which includes the Age limit & Educational Qualification. you can also check the details of the Admission Process in AILET Admission.

 

 B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Course:

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply.
  • Qualification: Candidate must qualify 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board. Must obtain at least 50% marks in qualifying exam.

 

LL.M. Course:

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply.
  • Qualification:  Candidate must pass the LL.B. or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Must obtain at least 55% marks in aggregate and 50% for SC/ST/PH candidates.

 

Ph.D. Course:

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply.
  • Qualification: Candidate must hold the master’s degree in Law from the recognized university.  Must secure 55% marks or its equivalent and 50% marks for reserved categories.

 

 

AILET Entrance Test Pattern

The AILET Exam for BA LLB (Hons) course contains 150 questions which aspirants need to complete in the duration of 1 hour 30 minutes. AILET 2018 exam has the total of five sections which are English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, and  Reasoning.

AILET Counselling 2018

The counselling will be conducted by the National Law University after the announcement of the result. The seats in colleges/university will be offered on the basis of entrance examination score. The counselling for admission to various seats will be started from the 4th week of June 2018.

 

 

AILET Cut Off 2018

The cutoff marks are the minimum marks that test takers must obtain to get be eligible for the pre-admission rounds of the university. The AILET cutoff is 40% for the General category candidates while 30% for the candidates applying under Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST). However, candidates must note that obtaining at least the AILET cutoff scores does not shortlist them for the counselling rounds. After the announcement of the result, NLU Delhi will be releasing the list of shortlisted according to their marks obtained. The higher the marks, more are the chances of getting shortlisted.
